Construction Project Scheduler

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Project Scheduler to support its Spent Fuel Handling Project at the Naval Reactors Facility on the Idaho National Lab property. The scheduler is a key member of the construction management team and assists the Construction Manager and Project Controls Manager with project plans, subcontractor schedule reviews and schedule forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Review and maintain subcontractor schedules in P6
• Help integrate subcontractor schedules into a master Integrated Construction Schedule
• Report and monitor progress on major construction milestones
• Track the status of work on a weekly basis and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
• Support the Project Controls Manager with project administration, including financial control and reporting
• Provide earned value progress and performance reporting and variance analysis of schedule slip
• Work closely with project management, field craft and finance stakeholders

Required profile

• 5+ years of work experience, including 3+ years on large-scale heavy industrial projects
• 5+ years of demonstrated proficiency administering project schedules
• Ability to plan, organize, document, perform, review and present multiple subprojects with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and clear documentation
• Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials; U.S. citizenship required for this location
