Construction Project Manager

About the role

Dabri, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) facilities services division. The role focuses on delivering maintenance, repair, modernization, and improvement projects across schools and administrative buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, processing, and expediting construction, modernization, installation, and repair projects for schools and district facilities.
• Serve as liaison among District Project Management Units, Maintenance and Operations Areas, environmental consultants, and abatement contractors.
• Review Requests for Assistance (RFAs), determine scope of work, and evaluate project drawings.
• Perform initial funding line review, prepare funding request packages, and coordinate with facilities accounting staff.
• Request, review, and evaluate cost proposals from environmental consultants for asbestos and lead abatements.
• Initiate and manage Asbestos Abatement and Lead Remediation contracts, task orders, and JOC contracts.
• Coordinate scheduling of abatements prior to demolition or renovation, ensuring temporary housing for students and staff.
• Review contractor submittals, daily logs, and certified payroll for invoice approval.
• Analyze change order requests and assess cost impacts.
• Support project closeout, certification, and bid processing activities.
