Construction Project Manager

About the role

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead interior facility renovation and tenant‑improvement projects for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The role spans pre‑construction through close‑out, ensuring projects meet design, budget, and schedule requirements while coordinating with Los Angeles County agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee interior renovation and tenant‑improvement projects from pre‑construction to close‑out.
• Manage documentation, procurement, buyout, and scope control.
• Coordinate with Los Angeles County agencies and maintain client interface.
• Provide technical direction to subordinate managers and enforce company and project policies.
• Ensure construction aligns with design specifications, budget constraints, and schedule milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of construction project management experience or equivalent.
• Experience managing projects within Los Angeles County, including familiarity with local permitting and inspection processes.
• Background in project coordination, procurement, and buyout.
• Experience in occupied facilities or phased renovation environments is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CMIC.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam.
• Proficiency with BIM or similar construction management platforms.
