Construction Manager (Venice, FL)

About the role

Perry Homes is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee Phase II construction activities in Venice, FL. You will coordinate contractors, manage materials, and ensure homes are completed to company standards while delivering excellent warranty service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate independent contractors across multiple job sites.
• Order, track, and inspect construction materials for quantity and quality.
• Maintain Perry Homes’ quality standards throughout the build process.
• Manage time, direct supervision, overhead costs, budget variances, and change orders.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Relevant management or leadership experience in construction.
• Strong verbal and written communication with contractors and homeowners.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Current, valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Fundamental knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and development plats.
