Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will oversee multiple capital improvement and construction projects for Greystar, a global real estate platform. This position ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards while supporting due‑diligence assessments for new acquisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with external clients and internal teams to present project status and propose efficiency improvements.
• Manage the full lifecycle of assigned capital projects, including planning, execution, and close‑out.
• Develop scopes of work, timelines, and project parameters for renovations, repositioning, and new construction.
• Administer the bidding process, evaluate contractor proposals, and recommend preferred vendors.
• Engage specialty engineers and architects as needed.
• Provide internal and external reporting on schedule, budget, and quality.
• Interview, hire, train, and supervise associates involved in renovation and repositioning projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple construction or capital improvement projects.
• Ability to conduct capital assessments during acquisition due‑diligence.
• Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholder updates.
• Leadership capability to manage project teams and subcontractors.
