Construction Laborer – Entry Level

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Construction Laborer to perform physical tasks on job sites, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment while supporting overall project progress.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and comply with company safety policies; complete required safety documentation.
• Dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel using hand tools.
• Lift, carry, and handle building materials, tools, and supplies.
• Mix, pour, and place concrete, gravel, and other materials.
• Join, wrap, and seal pipe sections; install culverts and pipe in trenches.
• Perform general cleanup, demolition, and use of cutting torches and jackhammers.
• Maintain and care for assigned tools and equipment.
• Assist with site tasks as needed and travel to different job sites on short notice.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent construction experience).
• Ability to follow safety rules and take personal responsibility for a zero‑injury workplace.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to read and interpret safety and procedural documents.
• Physical stamina to perform demanding labor and work outdoors.

Required skills

• Concrete mixing and placement.
• Pipe joining, wrapping, and sealing.
• Operation of hand tools such as shovels, pickaxes, cutting torches, and jackhammers.
• General tool maintenance and site cleanup.
