Configuration Control Manager

About the role

North Wind Design is seeking a Configuration Control Manager to lead configuration management and change control for Military Construction (MILCON) projects. The role is on‑site at active project locations and supports cost estimating, budgeting, risk management, and overall project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain configuration management and change control processes for MILCON projects.
• Serve as primary point of contact for configuration management, change requests and baseline control.
• Review and process Engineering Change Proposals, RFIs, design revisions and contract modifications.
• Perform cost estimating and impact analysis for design changes and change orders.
• Facilitate Configuration Control Board meetings and maintain decision records.
• Track, report and audit all project changes throughout execution.
• Support project closeout by validating configuration documentation and final baselines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in configuration management, project controls or construction management.
• At least 5 years supporting Federal/DoD MILCON projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage configuration control processes and large‑scale construction projects.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a government security clearance.
