Concierge – Resident Services

About the role

Lifespace is seeking a friendly and organized Concierge to be the first point of contact for residents, guests, and team members at its Tyler, Texas community. The role focuses on delivering personalized service, managing communications, and supporting daily operations of the concierge desk.

Key responsibilities

• Greet residents, guests, and staff with courtesy and urgency, ensuring visitors sign in and are directed appropriately.
• Answer phones and communication devices promptly, transferring messages to the correct parties.
• Communicate emergency information (fire, severe weather, missing persons) following community procedures.
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries to the correct residents or departments.
• Provide local attraction recommendations and arrange personal services such as restaurant reservations, transportation, floral orders, and dry‑cleaning.
• Manage room and guest‑room reservations, open and close the concierge desk, and secure keys, files, and equipment.
• Handle inquiries and release information in line with HIPAA and company policies.
• Coordinate with Safety and Security officers and direct vendors or emergency vehicles when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience required; hospitality experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to community policies and HIPAA regulations.
