Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist – Imaging CAT Scan

About the role

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist performs routine and advanced imaging procedures, supporting patient flow and collaborating with radiologists and staff. The role requires flexibility to work different shifts or campuses and involves troubleshooting equipment and managing image archiving.

Key responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations and ensure accurate scanning and storage in PACS.
• Assist other imaging technologists and contribute to patient throughput.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and report malfunctions.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and ongoing education.
• Follow PACS downtime procedures as a Superuser and escalate issues when needed.
• Adhere to confidentiality, professionalism, and organizational core values.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
• Preferably 1 + year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Commitment to continuous learning, safety, and technical advances.
