Comprehensive Refugee Service Intern (Fall 2026) – Unpaid

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Fall 2026 Comprehensive Refugee Service Intern to support its Tallahassee office. This unpaid position offers flexible hours (minimum 15 hours per week) over at least three months, allowing you to gain hands‑on experience in refugee assistance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage documents: scan, file, and organize client records.
• Perform data entry and take detailed notes.
• Assist clients in developing problem‑solving skills and promote self‑sufficiency.
• Accompany caseworkers to appointments and support service delivery.
• Adhere to IRC work ethics and confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with CRS staff and external community partners.
• Participate actively in staff meetings and development programs.
