Compliance Manager

About the role

The Compliance Manager reports to the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer and leads the university’s Title IX and civil‑rights compliance program. This position ensures a safe, respectful campus environment by overseeing investigations, policy updates, training, and outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Title IX and civil‑rights compliance efforts across the university, coordinating with deputy and campus coordinators.
• Manage responses to Title IX and civil‑rights complaints from students, faculty, staff, and third parties.
• Review, update, and refine university policies to reflect current Title IX‑related laws, regulations, and guidance.
• Develop and deliver compliance‑related training, workshops, and communication campaigns.
• Identify systemic issues, assess campus climate, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer with informal and formal compliance reviews.
• Maintain the Institutional Compliance Office webpage and social media presence.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate compliance staff and contribute to departmental budgeting and strategy.

Required profile

• Authorization to work for any U.S. employer.
• Demonstrated experience leading Title IX or civil‑rights compliance programs in a higher‑education setting.
• Strong knowledge of Title IX‑related statutes, regulations, and guidance.
• Proven ability to coordinate investigations, develop policies, and deliver training.
