Compensation Specialist – Hybrid (Buffalo, NY)

About the role

Moog’s Corporate Group is seeking a Compensation Specialist to join its Total Rewards team. Working on a hybrid schedule in the Buffalo/East Aurora area, you will support compensation cycles, market benchmarking and salary structure management while advising HR partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing annual compensation cycles, including pay review materials and training.
• Administer salary increase processes and ensure alignment with compensation guidelines.
• Conduct annual benchmarking surveys and analyze market trends to maintain competitive pay structures.
• Oversee job matching methodology and provide guidance on market reference jobs.
• Review and maintain salary structures, perform job catalog audits and implement refinements.
• Execute compensation audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support reporting efforts with general and ad‑hoc compensation analyses.
• Provide advisory support and training resources to HR partners on compensation policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• At least three years of experience in compensation analysis, benchmarking and program administration.
• Strong understanding of job evaluation, salary benchmarking methodologies and compliance practices.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Must reside in the Buffalo, NY area to work onsite.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS systems.
• Experience using compensation survey tools.
• Ability to work with data reporting platforms.
