Community Manager – Richmond, VA

About the role

The Community Manager oversees the daily operations of an assigned multifamily property in the Richmond area. You will lead the on‑site team, coordinate activities, and ensure the property meets its financial and operational targets while delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day property operations, including staffing, maintenance coordination, and resident services.
• Develop and monitor budgets by analyzing financial statements, market data, and operational reports.
• Achieve revenue goals through effective leasing, rent collection, and expense control.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable regulations.
• Provide leadership and training to property staff to maintain high performance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant property management or community management experience.
• Strong understanding of multifamily housing operations and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Budget analysis and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, and related compliance standards.
