Community Manager – Oceanaire Property

About the role

Greystar is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Oceanaire property in Long Beach. You will lead the on‑site team, manage financial performance, and ensure compliance with all housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor the property budget, analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and code charges to the appropriate accounts.
• Maintain petty‑cash controls and stay within approved budget limits.
• Manage lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable regulations.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of Community Manager experience, preferably in affordable housing.
• Proficiency with Yardi property‑management software.
• Strong knowledge of multi‑family housing laws and regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data and make budgetary decisions.
