Maintenance Technician – Elevate Long Beach

About the role

This position performs technical and mechanical work to keep the buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas of the Elevate Long Beach property clean, safe and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Perform “make‑ready” tasks for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, repairs and final inspections.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Inspect contractor work and participate in routine property inspections to identify safety or repair concerns.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience in a residential or commercial setting.
• Proficiency with Yardi property‑management software.
• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
