Community Manager – Lease‑Up (San Diego)

About the role

We are looking for a Community Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of a lease‑up property in Otay Mesa, San Diego. The role involves leading the on‑site team, ensuring resident satisfaction, and meeting financial and operational targets for a 120‑unit community.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the assigned lease‑up property, including staffing, budgeting and compliance.
• Lead and develop on‑site team members to deliver high‑quality resident services.
• Coordinate leasing activities to achieve occupancy goals for a 120‑unit community.
• Ensure adherence to Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and Greystar policies.
• Maintain weekend availability and respond to resident inquiries promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of community management experience, preferably in lease‑up or affordable housing.
• Strong knowledge of San Diego housing regulations and affordable housing programs.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
