Community Manager (Lease Up)

About the role

The Community Manager (Lease Up) will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned property, leading the on‑site team and ensuring financial and operational targets are met. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other multi‑family housing regulations while driving resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily property operations, team members, and resources to achieve budgeted goals.
• Develop and monitor property budgets, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, process bank deposits, and ensure timely posting.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges, and coordinate payments.
• Control expenditures, manage petty cash, and stay within approved budget limits.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Analyze market and economic trends to implement short‑ and long‑term leasing strategies that meet occupancy and revenue goals.

Required profile

• Experience managing property operations and a team in a multi‑family housing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
• Proven ability to develop budgets, analyze financial data, and meet revenue targets.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in invoice processing and cash management.
• Ability to interpret market trends and execute effective leasing strategies.
