Community Manager (Lease-Up)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager (Lease‑Up) for its upcoming projects in Des Peres, Missouri. The role will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the assigned property, lead the on‑site team and ensure that financial and operational goals are achieved while complying with all applicable housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input to property budgets by analyzing financial statements, marketing data and operational reports.
• Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, make bank deposits and prepare monthly financial status reports to meet revenue targets.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly and coordinate payments.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage the petty‑cash fund.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, discounts, renewals, inspections, evictions and collection of late fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends to inform leasing strategies and pricing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other multi‑family housing regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or community management, preferably in lease‑up environments.
• Strong understanding of residential leasing regulations and budgeting processes.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and coordinate on‑site team activities.
• Excellent analytical skills for financial reporting and market analysis.
