Community Manager for The Ellis Property

About the role

The Ellis community manager will oversee daily operations of the Ellis property in Carrollton, Texas. Reporting to senior management, you will lead the on‑site team, ensure financial targets are met, and maintain compliance with housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise property staff and coordinate daily activities to achieve operational goals.
• Develop and monitor the property budget, analyze financial statements, and adjust rent rates to meet revenue targets.
• Ensure timely collection and posting of rent, fees, and other charges.
• Maintain compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable laws.
• Oversee marketing initiatives, resident relations, and community events to enhance occupancy and resident satisfaction.
• Prepare regular performance reports for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant property management experience.
• Proven ability to manage teams and meet financial objectives.
• Strong knowledge of multi‑family housing regulations.
