Community Manager for Katy Legacy Property

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Katy Legacy property, leading the on‑site team to meet financial and operational targets while ensuring compliance with all relevant housing regulations. This position serves as the primary point of contact for residents, vendors, and internal stakeholders, fostering a vibrant community environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise property staff and coordinate daily activities to deliver high‑quality resident services.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust the property budget by analyzing financial statements, market trends, and operational reports.
• Set rent rates, collect rent and ancillary fees, and ensure timely posting of payments.
• Maintain strict compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other multi‑family housing laws.
• Oversee resident relations, handle inquiries and complaints, and implement community engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate maintenance activities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Prepare regular performance reports and recommend operational improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of relevant property or community management experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, and other housing regulations.
