Community Manager – East Bay South

About the role

Yelp is looking for a passionate Community Manager to lead its East Bay South region. Working remotely or from anywhere in the metro area, you will be the face of Yelp, connecting locals with the best businesses and curating experiences for the Yelp Elite Squad.

Key responsibilities

• Attend local events and build relationships with business owners.
• Conceptualize, plan, and execute Yelp‑hosted events and partnerships.
• Support and engage the Yelp Elite community through content interaction and communication.
• Research and curate business collections for the Local Yelp newsletter.
• Manage the regional Instagram presence, including copywriting and visual asset creation.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of the East Bay area and its local scene.
• 3+ years of experience in event planning, social media management, or marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously and manage your own schedule.
• At least 21 years old, residing between Hayward, Fremont, and Livermore, with reliable transportation.
