About the role

The Community Manager leads daily operations of a residential community in Davenport, ensuring exceptional resident experiences, strong financial performance, and full regulatory compliance. This position serves as the primary liaison between ownership, residents, and the onsite team, driving operational excellence and long‑term success.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to resident concerns, complaints, questions, and requests, resolving issues with empathy and problem‑solving.
• Prepare and submit accurate accounting, financial, administrative, and operational reports on schedule.
• Act as the main point of contact for ownership, investors, and regional/asset management teams, delivering performance updates and market insights.
• Lead ownership and partner site visits, offering recommendations for asset preservation, revenue growth, and expense control.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of onsite team members, ensuring compliance with company policies and certifications.
• Enforce lease terms and manage escalated resident disputes in accordance with Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA, and other housing regulations.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a resident‑focused mindset.
• Proven ability to manage a team and drive operational results.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA, and related housing regulations.
• Experience in property or community management preferred.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
