Community Assistant – Residential Learning Community

About the role

The Community Assistant supports Greystar’s property management team in a Residential Learning Community, helping to achieve occupancy and resident satisfaction through administrative, leasing, and customer‑service tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform office administration such as copying, filing resident files, preparing notices, handling calls and organizing rent payments.
• Assist with leasing activities: conduct virtual tours, respond to online inquiries, greet and qualify prospects, give property tours and show apartments.
• Generate lease paperwork, organize resident lease files and support the move‑in/move‑out process, including mandatory work dates.
• Answer incoming calls, schedule prospect appointments and conduct on‑campus marketing outreach.
• Coordinate resident events, distribute flyers, newsletters, surveys and late notices.
• Serve as an after‑hours liaison, responding to emergencies and covering at least one on‑call shift per week.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to interact courteously with residents and prospects.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and on‑call shifts.
• Ability to handle move‑in and move‑out dates as mandatory work periods.
• Organized, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple administrative tasks.
