Community Assistant – Campus West (Student Living)

About the role

The Community Assistant supports the property management team at Greystar’s Campus West student living community. This position helps achieve occupancy and retention goals through administrative, leasing, and customer‑service tasks. You will be the primary point of contact for residents and prospects on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Perform office administration such as copying, filing resident files, preparing notices, and organizing rent payments.
• Assist with sales and leasing activities, including virtual tours, responding to online inquiries, greeting prospects, and conducting property tours.
• Generate lease paperwork, organize lease files, and support the lease preparation process.
• Coordinate move‑in and move‑out activities, including mandatory work dates and turn‑over tasks.
• Answer incoming calls, schedule prospect appointments, and set up property tours.
• Conduct on‑campus marketing outreach to raise community awareness and drive qualified traffic.
• Help organize resident events, birthday cards, unit visits, and other programs to boost resident satisfaction.
• Distribute notices such as flyers, newsletters, resident surveys, and late notices.
• Serve as an after‑hours liaison, responding to emergencies and covering at least one on‑call shift per week.

Required profile

• Flexible schedule to work mandatory move‑in/move‑out dates and on‑call shifts.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to respond quickly and courteously.
• Excellent organizational skills for handling administrative and leasing tasks.
