Communications Manager, YouTube Ads

About the role

The Communications Manager for YouTube Ads will lead the narrative around Google’s advertising solutions on YouTube. You will inform and inspire users, advertisers, partners, and the media about the value of YouTube’s ad products, helping businesses grow in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication strategies for multiple YouTube Ads product areas.
• Pitch stories, press releases, and product announcements to journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and key opinion leaders.
• Translate complex product launches into clear, compelling narratives for business and trade press.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with PR, marketing, product, and legal teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Manage several concurrent projects, meeting tight deadlines in a fast‑moving environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or internal/executive communications for technology products or services.
• Demonstrated understanding of the digital advertising and streaming ecosystem.
• Proven ability to work creatively and cross‑functionally to solve problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
