Communications and Marketing Specialist

About the role

This remote position supports a partner company in shaping clear, consistent, and engaging communications that drive awareness and adoption of government program capabilities. The specialist will translate complex initiatives into accessible content for diverse stakeholder audiences while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver strategic communications and marketing content that supports program awareness, adoption, and engagement.
• Create and design materials such as case studies, infographics, briefing decks, fact sheets, promotional assets, and impact stories.
• Maintain consistent messaging across web, social media, presentations, and internal/external communications.
• Support product marketing initiatives by defining, executing, and maintaining marketing strategies for government program capabilities.
• Contribute to change‑management efforts by improving communication processes, identifying risks, and applying frameworks such as Prosci/ADKAR.
• Prepare communications inputs for reports, dashboards, and strategic‑planning documentation.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to prioritize communications needs and align delivery plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic communications and product marketing.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Experience with federal government clients preferred.
• Familiarity with change‑management frameworks (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR).
• Proven ability to support organizational change and transformation initiatives.
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
• Excellent analytical thinking, time‑management, and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and incorporate feedback effectively.
• U.S. work authorization required.
