Commercial Truck Driving Technology Adjunct Instructor

About the role

Join the State of Georgia as a part‑time Adjunct Instructor for the Commercial Truck Driving Technology program. You will teach semester‑based courses that prepare students for careers as commercial truck drivers, delivering both classroom and hands‑on lab instruction.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, lab sessions, and instructional activities for the Commercial Truck Driving Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) program.
• Advise and mentor students, evaluate their progress, and maintain required documentation.
• Set up and take down lab equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Transportation, Logistics and Building Services Associate Dean and the Dean of Business and Technical Studies.

Required profile

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean 7‑year motor vehicle record.
• Minimum five years of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
• Current DOT physical examination.
• Ability to provide an official copy of the Class A CDL license.
