Commercial HVAC/R Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Commercial HVAC/R Technician to install, maintain, and repair commercial heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems. The role supports a variety of large‑scale mechanical systems across multiple commercial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC/R equipment such as WSHP, packaged units, split systems, air handlers and refrigeration units.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings and system specifications for proper installation and integration.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, cleaning, filter replacement and system optimization.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and control issues, including refrigerant leaks, motor and pump failures.
• Work on large systems like cooling towers, air distribution networks and building automation controls.
• Respond to emergency failures and document service records accurately.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Minimum 5 + years experience in commercial HVAC/R service or installation.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC codes, safety regulations and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple job sites and transport tools/equipment.

Required skills

• Installation of WSHP, packaged and split HVAC systems.
• Maintenance of air handlers, refrigeration equipment and cooling towers.
• Troubleshooting of pumps, motors, electrical components and control systems.
• Interpretation of blueprints and technical drawings.
