Commercial Counsel – U.S. (Remote Eligible)

About the role

The Commercial Counsel will join a fast‑growing enterprise AI and technology company, reporting to the General Counsel. Working remotely from anywhere in the United States, you will provide hands‑on, commercially focused legal support for technology transactions, commercial agreements, and strategic corporate initiatives such as fundraising and IPO preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate technology and commercial contracts, including SaaS, software, AI, data, enterprise customer, and partnership agreements.
• Provide practical, business‑oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders and senior management.
• Support corporate and strategic initiatives, including fundraising and capital‑markets preparation.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams on business‑critical projects.
• Manage external counsel for specialized or jurisdiction‑specific matters.
• Help scale legal processes, templates, and frameworks as the business grows.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 3–6 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Strong background in technology transactions and commercial agreements, preferably in high‑growth or tech‑focused environments.
• Exposure to capital markets, fundraising, or IPO work is a plus.
• Commercial, solutions‑oriented mindset with the ability to balance risk and business needs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills; able to work with senior leadership.
• Licensed in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and fluent in English.
