About the role

LinkedIn is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join its Marketing Solutions team. The role is hybrid and can be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago, Washington D.C., or New York City. You will work closely with marketing sales teams to negotiate advertising and partnership agreements that drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate ad‑sales agreements, including insertion orders, media contracts, strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and NDAs.
  • Lead negotiation calls with customers and coordinate approvals with Deal Desk, Sales, Finance, Product, and other cross‑functional partners.
  • Act as a business partner throughout the customer lifecycle to ensure timely closure of sales opportunities.
  • Drive internal projects that create scalable contract processes and improve negotiation efficiency.
  • Provide support to senior attorneys as needed.

Required profile

  • J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school.
  • At least 3 years of experience practicing law, with a minimum of 2 years focused on online/digital advertising transactions (Ad‑Tech).
  • Experience negotiating IAB standard terms and conditions is preferred.
