About the role

This position is a work‑study role for undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at Texas A&M International University. You will work directly under the direction of the Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Physics, providing office support while maintaining your academic schedule.

Key responsibilities

Handle routine office inquiries from employees and students.
Assist in day‑to‑day maintenance and responsibilities of the Mathematics and Physics department.
Perform clerical functions such as answering phones, filing, scheduling, and organizing.
Complete other related duties as assigned by the department.

Required profile

Enrolled at least half‑time (6 credit hours for undergraduates, 3 for graduates) with a minimum GPA of 2.0 (undergrad) or 3.0 (grad).
Current, complete file with the Office of Financial Aid and demonstrated financial need via FAFSA.
Texas residency; athletic scholarship recipients are not eligible.
Compliance with TAMIU’s Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy.
