Coating Package Manager – Vendor Facility (Qatar)

About the role

Saipem is seeking a Coating Package Manager to join the NFPS 3 project in Qatar. The role will be based at the vendor’s coating facility and will oversee the full scope of coating package activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedule, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate vendor coating operations, guaranteeing adherence to project specifications, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Monitor production progress, identify risks early and implement mitigation actions to avoid delays.
• Serve as the primary interface between the vendor and project teams (engineering, quality, planning, logistics, HSE).
• Track and report daily production status, highlighting deviations and potential schedule impacts.
• Coordinate inspections, tests, and audits with quality and client representatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation of coating activities, including NCRs and corrective actions.
• Support resolution of technical or operational issues in collaboration with engineering and vendor teams.

Required profile

• Background in pipeline coating operations (3LPE/3LPP, FBE, CWC).
• Strong knowledge of coating QA/QC processes and HSE standards.
• Excellent planning, coordination and communication abilities.
• Experience in vendor management or construction package management is an advantage.
