About the role

This position offers a choice between a W-2 employee arrangement or an independent‑contractor (1099) engagement. The counselor will provide outpatient treatment for individuals with co‑occurring mental health and substance‑use disorders, delivering both group and individual sessions, conducting assessments, and completing required documentation.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence‑based substance‑use and mental‑health treatment to clients in community‑based group homes, office settings, or via telehealth.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group counseling sessions, and conduct clinical assessments.
  • Maintain accurate client records and meet documentation timelines in compliance with program standards.

Required profile

  • Licensed counselor qualified to provide substance‑use and mental‑health services.
  • Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week across two affiliated organizations, serving a caseload that includes Category A clients and other clients.
