About the role
Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is seeking an engineering student to work part‑time in its Torrance machine shop. You will gain practical CNC machining experience while supporting the production of flight‑control actuation components for commercial and military aircraft.
Key responsibilities
- Perform hands‑on CNC machining tasks on aerospace components.
- Document machining processes and work instructions.
- Support production of aircraft flight‑control actuation system parts.
Required profile
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Sophomore year or higher.
- Available to work 15–20 hours per week.
Required skills
- Basic CNC machining knowledge.
- Comfortable working on a shop‑floor environment.
- Hands‑on mechanical experience (preferred).
