CMM Programmer

About the role

Join BETA Technologies to develop and manage CMM inspection programs for aerospace components, supporting the mission to revolutionize electric aviation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop CMM inspection programs for a variety of aerospace components.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Design Engineering to create inspection processes aligned with business goals.
• Provide technical expertise in machining process development and quality verification.
• Program multiple CMMs for various machining processes and products.
• Generate formatted reports for engineering, CNC programs, and operators.
• Edit legacy CMM programs and develop probing and fixturing solutions.
• Mentor entry‑level personnel in CMM operation.
• Pursue new manufacturing technologies and process improvements.
• Perform inspections as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years QC experience in aerospace or a comparable industry.
• Experience with CNC CMM programming.
• Proficiency in GD&T (ASME Y14.5‑2018) and use of hand gages.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
