Cloud Engineer - AWS/Azure

About the role

3 Squared Technology Group is hiring a Cloud Engineer to support Cloud One, which provides secure cloud computing environments, platforms, migrations and data management to the DoD. The engineer supports system administration for USAF and other DoD clients on several cloud-hosted applications, working remotely with a geographic preference for the Montgomery, Alabama or Dayton, Ohio area.

Key responsibilities

• Provide system administration in AWS and Microsoft Azure environments, including granting and revoking permissions, applying patches and provisioning cloud services.
• Support infrastructure as code (IaC) within the team.
• Work with Agile development teams to identify standard, repeatable test cases and write scripts that improve efficiency, prioritizing tests that feed into a release automation CI/CD pipeline.
• Produce manual or one-off test cases as needed.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps resources, the Program Manager, Scrum Master, team members and the Government customer to establish best practices aligned with Agile development.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of cloud experience with MS Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Desired: 5 years of cloud experience and 2 years within the DoD.
• Bachelor's degree desired.
• SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one.
