CLO Specialist (Associate - AVP), Structured Credit Services

About the role

Deutsche Bank's Corporate Bank offers Structured Credit Services, including CLOs and asset-backed securities, through its Trust and Securities Services team. The CLO Specialist (Associate - Assistant Vice President) is the main point of contact for the Corporate Trust Senior Analyst on a portfolio of CLO deals. The role sits in the Santa Ana office under a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain master security of fixed income instruments, including syndicated bank loan facilities
• Serve the Corporate Trust US business across a portfolio of CLO deals within Structured Finance
• Maintain the Solvas database platform information, sourcing data from third-party providers
• Work with support staff, client services specialists, portfolio accounting analysts and external clients and agent banks to set up and maintain syndicated loan facilities
• Review accrual and position information on the internal platform and investigate discrepancies raised by the CLO Specialist
• Oversight and manage key projects across CLO/BLS

Required profile

• BA/BS, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics; MBA a plus
• Moderate experience of CLO bank loans and moderate experience managing medium-size teams
• Fluent written and spoken English is essential
• Proven ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and work as part of a team
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity while using them responsibly and ethically

Required skills

• General understanding of accounting, financial reporting and structured credit products
• Familiarity with Solvas or Wall Street Office (WSO)
• Advanced MS Excel, including complex formulas and modelling
• CLOs and/or Solvas-CDO Suite experience a plus

The stated salary range for California is $75,000-$146,000, depending on experience, education and other qualifications.
