Clinical Services Manager – SICU/CVICU

About the role

The Clinical Services Manager for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) oversees daily operations, ensuring high‑quality patient care and efficient unit performance at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams within the SICU and CVICU.
• Monitor unit staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics.
• Manage budgets, supplies, and equipment specific to intensive‑care services.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and support services to optimize patient flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in intensive‑care or critical‑care settings, with demonstrated leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of SICU and CVICU clinical operations and regulations.
