Clinical Research Principal Investigator – Neurologist

About the role

Alcanza Clinical is seeking a board‑certified Neurologist to serve as Principal Investigator for multi‑site clinical trials. The role involves overseeing daily trial activities, ensuring participant safety, and maintaining compliance with FDA, ICH, NIH, GCP, and HIPAA guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the site’s clinical operations, focusing on patient safety, protocol adherence, and regulatory compliance.
• Screen and enroll eligible participants, monitor their well‑being, and retain them throughout the study.
• Collaborate with sponsors, clients, and internal teams to ensure high‑quality data collection.
• Document study data accurately and follow GCP standards.
• Provide protocol training for staff and attend Investigator Meetings and continuing education activities.
• Perform additional duties as required by the study or company.

Required profile

• MD or DO with an active, good‑standing physician license in the state of practice.
• Board certification in Neurology.
• Prior clinical research experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using electronic health record systems.
• Familiarity with web‑based applications for data capture.
