Clinical Research Coordinator (Level 1) – Miami

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Psychiatry is seeking a full‑time Clinical Research Coordinator 1 to support the MACS/WIHS Combined Cohort Study (MWCCS). Working under Dr. Deborah Jones, you will implement study protocols, manage participant visits, and ensure high‑quality data collection for a project focused on LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS‑affected communities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform chart reviews and pre‑screen participants for eligibility.
• Coordinate study timelines, schedule appointments, and manage visit logistics.
• Collect, code, and maintain electronic data in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct screening, baseline, and follow‑up assessments at multiple clinic sites.
• Monitor and report adverse events and protocol deviations.
• Maintain study‑specific regulatory binders and ensure adherence to local, national, and international guidelines.
