Clinical Research Coordinator II – Full‑Time

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of SCCC is seeking a mid‑level Clinical Research Coordinator II to support the planning, execution, and oversight of moderate‑risk clinical studies on the UHealth campus in Miami.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with participant recruitment, screening, and retention.
• Perform study procedures, collect data, and manage daily operations of clinical protocols.
• Process, pack, and ship biological specimens in compliance with protocol and regulatory standards.
• Maintain study documentation, binders, and filing systems according to university policies.
• Distribute study drug materials under the Principal Investigator’s delegation.
• Monitor, document, and report adverse events and protocol deviations.
• Support protocol amendments, study orientation, and in‑service training for staff.
• Track study progress, prepare progress reports, and communicate updates to investigators and sponsors.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as orientation, competency documentation, and performance reviews.
• Apply cultural competency practices to meet participants’ language and health‑literacy needs.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience coordinating clinical research studies.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and sponsor guidelines.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with investigators, sponsors, and multidisciplinary teams.
