Clinical Research Coordinator I – Full-time

About the role

The University of Miami UHealth Department of Urology seeks a full‑time Clinical Research Coordinator I to support studies at the Don Soffer Clinical Research Center. This entry‑level position involves managing study logistics, data collection, and participant coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Perform chart review and pre‑screening to determine participant eligibility and coordinate simple clinical research protocols.
• Manage study timelines, schedule appointments and visits, collect and maintain data, and enter information into case report forms and electronic data capture systems.
• Monitor adverse events, protocol deviations and unanticipated occurrences, and report them according to regulatory requirements.
• Collect, process, ship and track biological specimens while maintaining study‑specific regulatory binders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of one year of experience in clinical research or a related area.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights or weekends as needed.
