About the role

The Clinical Research Coordinator 3 serves as an experienced clinical research professional responsible for leading the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of multiple clinical research protocols within the Radiation Oncology Department. The role manages daily study operations from initiation through close‑out, ensures regulatory compliance, and mentors less‑experienced coordinators.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinates the implementation of multiple complex clinical research protocols.
• Develops SOPs and templates with guidance from the PI/Clinical Research Manager.
• Oversees eligibility screening and recruitment activities, implementing strategies to increase accrual.
• Manages sample processing, packing, and shipping according to protocol and regulations.
• Plans and operationalizes monitoring, documentation, and follow‑up on unanticipated occurrences and protocol deviations.
• Develops and disseminates study‑related best practice manuals.
• Provides leadership in protocol implementation and keeps investigators apprised of study progress.
• Identifies and works through ethical conflicts, referring to the Research Ethics Team as needed.
• Organizes site visits and internal/external audit activities.
• Coordinates research team meetings and ensures effective communication across stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant clinical research experience.
• Learning agility to adapt to new procedures, technologies, and priorities.
• Teamwork ability to collaborate effectively with study teams.
• Technical proficiency with office software and relevant computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
