Clinical Research Coordinator 3 – Full‑Time

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of SCCC seeks an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator 3 to lead multiple complex clinical research protocols on the UHealth medical campus. This full‑time position provides leadership from protocol development through study close‑out while ensuring regulatory compliance and participant safety.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation and daily operations of multiple complex clinical research protocols.
• Develop SOPs and templates in collaboration with the Principal Investigator and Clinical Research Manager.
• Oversee eligibility screening, recruitment strategies, and participant accrual.
• Manage sample processing, packaging, and shipping according to protocol and regulatory standards.
• Monitor, document, and address unanticipated occurrences and protocol deviations, implementing corrective actions.
• Organize site visits, internal/external audits, and research team meetings to ensure compliance and communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Current Research Coordinator certification (Association of Clinical Research Professionals or Society of Clinical Research Associates) or ability to obtain within six months.
• Minimum four years of relevant clinical research experience.
• Strong ability to collect, organize, and analyze data, solve problems, and prioritize work under pressure.
• Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information and capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
