Clinical Research Coordinator 3 (Full-Time)

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of SCCC is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator 3 to lead and manage multiple clinical research protocols on its Miami medical campus. This full-time position oversees study operations from initiation through close-out, ensuring compliance with regulatory and sponsor requirements while mentoring junior coordinators.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of several complex clinical research protocols.
• Develop SOPs and templates in collaboration with the Principal Investigator and Clinical Research Manager.
• Oversee eligibility screening, recruitment strategies, and participant accrual.
• Manage sample processing, packaging, and shipping according to protocol and regulations.
• Monitor, document, and address unanticipated events and protocol deviations, implementing corrective actions.
• Lead study progress reporting and keep investigators informed of status.
• Facilitate ethical conflict resolution in partnership with the Research Ethics Team.
• Organize site visits, internal and external audits, and research team meetings.
• Synchronize study visits, clinical tests, and data collection schedules to ensure timely participant progression.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating multiple clinical research studies.
• Ability to mentor and guide less-experienced coordinators.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines and sponsor requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
