Clinical Research Coordinator 2 – Full‑time

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a full‑time Clinical Research Coordinator 2 to support moderate‑risk clinical studies in Miami, FL. The coordinator will manage day‑to‑day protocol implementation, ensure participant safety, and maintain regulatory compliance from study start to close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in participant recruitment, screening, and retention activities.
• Perform study procedures, collect data, and manage specimen processing, packaging, and shipping.
• Maintain study documentation, binders, and regulatory filings per UM and department policies.
• Distribute study drug materials under PI delegation and monitor adverse events and protocol deviations.
• Support protocol amendments, orientation, and in‑service training for research teams.
• Communicate study progress to investigators and submit required progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum two years of relevant clinical research experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Capability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Commitment to university core values and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
