Clinical Program Manager – Full‑time

About the role

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Clinical Program Manager to support multiple clinical programs on the UHealth campus. The role involves independent judgment in managing daily activities, preparing documentation, and ensuring program performance exceeds expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate assignments for program operations.
• Evaluate office production, revise procedures, and create new forms to improve workflow.
• Manage clinical operation and quality‑assurance procedures.
• Implement projects and procedures to ensure high program performance.
• Assess organizational needs and develop clinical programs to meet them.
• Maintain records and report statistics for administrative, quality‑assurance, safety, and control purposes.
• Coordinate development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Oversee personnel actions such as hiring, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Establish and assess internal controls and ensure compliance with university policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of business and management principles.
• Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
• Strong leadership, motivation, development, and training capabilities.
