Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (GS-13)

About the role

The Veterans Health Administration is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (GS-13) to provide expert pharmaceutical care within a clinical setting. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), offering loan repayment assistance for qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical pharmacy services and medication therapy management to support patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to influence clinical and management decisions.
• Maintain compliance with VA policies, licensure requirements, and federal regulations.
• Participate in the EDRP application process and adhere to program guidelines.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship or eligibility under VA hiring exceptions.
• Graduate of an ACPE‑accredited pharmacy program (Pharm.D. preferred).
• Current, unrestricted pharmacy license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English as required by federal law.
• GS‑13 grade determination with at least one year of experience equivalent to the GS‑12 level.
