Clinical Pharmacist

About the role

The Clinical Pharmacist position is part of the Veterans Health Administration and is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), which provides student loan repayment assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Meet the eligibility requirements for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP).
• Maintain a full, current, and unrestricted pharmacy license in the United States.
• Comply with all VA policies and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship or eligibility under VA policy when a qualified citizen cannot be recruited.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English as required by 38 U.S.C. 7402(d) and 7407(d).
• Graduate of an ACPE‑accredited pharmacy program (BS Pharmacy or Pharm.D.).
• Full, current, unrestricted pharmacy licensure in a U.S. state, territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
• Ability to provide proof of Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Commission (FPGEC) certification if holding a foreign pharmacy degree.

Required skills

• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

What we offer

• Education Debt Reduction Program award up to $200,000.
• Eligibility period ranging from one to five years, determined after application review.
