Clinical Nurse Coordinator – Intake Team

About the role

Join the UAMS Kids First team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator on the Intake Team, providing compassionate, coordinated nursing care for children entering the program. You will serve as a trusted clinical resource for staff, families, and community partners.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the nursing process to manage complex patient care, document assessments, and administer medications and treatments.
• Coordinate intake and ongoing health assessments, maintain accurate records, and ensure confidentiality.
• Collaborate with medical directors, dietitians, physicians, and other providers to develop and revise care plans.
• Engage families using family‑centered care principles and provide education, including CPR classes.
• Support student training, act as a resource for health, safety, and infection control, and may temporarily assume clinic director duties.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Nursing with at least two years of RN experience.
• Current Arkansas RN license.
• Current CPR instructor status or obtain within six months of hire.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Required skills

• CPR instruction and certification.
